Calaqueños and devotees from different parts of the country flocked in the annual celebration of the Feast of St. Raphael in Calaca, Batangas.
The week-long celebration was officially welcomed with a procession of the municipality’s patron saint and a caracol or the ceremonial blessing of the sea through parading the relic around the coastal areas of Calaca.
In fulfillment of our pledge to serve the community where we operate, South Pacific Incorporated, in coordination with the Municipality of Calaca, extended its arms through participating in various activities.
One of the firsts in the company’s future ventures, SPI employees showed its support through having a booth that cradled interactive activities and surprises.
As the company is eyeing more expansion, SPI also joined in the job fair. An initiaitive of the municipality of Calaca, to give jobs among its locals.
Bazaar, contests, and concerts that showcased the creativity of the Calaqueños were visible during the week-long festivities.
The event ended with a bang through a star-studded Mayor’s Night celebration.
