Every Filipino working in the private sector contributes to the Social Security System fund. However, not everyone is knowledgeable enough on the maximum benefits an SSS contributor can enjoy.

With that, South Pacific Incorporated sought the help of SSS Lemery Branch to conduct a free seminar to its employees in order to provide better understanding on the perks and benefits an SSS contributor is entitled to.

JonJon Magadia and Kennard Judes P. Dimaandal, SSS Lemery Branch, lead the seminar through rigorous discussion of every thing an SSS member should know.

“Iyong kontribusyon niyo po ngayon sa SSS, iyan ang ginagamit natin ngayon for pension ng mga nagretiro na. Pagdating naman po ng panahon na kayo naman ang magreretiro, kayo naman po ang gagamit ng perang maipopondo ng mga nakababatang henerasyon. Cycle lang po ang nangyayari.” Explained Magadia.

From maternity and bereavement benefits, to contributions assessment and loan programs, Magadia and Dimaandal provided answers that cleared the clouded minds of the attendees.

“Ang kontribusyon niyo po sa SSS ay puhunan niyo po. Katulad nga po ng sabi ni Sir Jon, ito ay isang malaking paluwagan,” added Dimaandal.

This initiative is part of the company’s contribution to continuously educate its employees.
